I like a hat that has a nice wide band around it better to frame my small narrow face. I also prefer a beanie. With that in mind, I made this hat.

Then I had to adjust it for my daughter who prefers “a bit of slouch.” Either way you knit up this hat, as a beanie or a slouchy, it works.

This hat is a quick knit, with a simple pattern to follow. Just knits and purls. Great for travel.

I was obviously in a “monochrome” mood when I knit these up. However with spring ahead, feeling a little more chipper, I would say that this hat screams for color. Making it a great stash buster. I need to put a multicolor version next on my list, unless someone beats me to it!
