This pattern in beginner friendly using modified single crochet to great a complicated texture yet simple.
This is an adult size toque that can be modified if you are experienced crochet to fit your preference.

It uses worsted yarn which is easily accessible, you need 4.4 and 5.5mm hooks to make the hat.You can make it slouchy if that’s what YOU like but the pattern is designed to be fitted just remember that you will need more yarn if you choose to go that route.

The pattern used approximately 160yards which is a single skien of a Lionbrand Vanna’s choice.
