This is a pattern to make your own customizable crochet banners! It includes the full English alphabet, numbers, and a handful of symbols. There are full detailed instructions on constructing your custom graph pattern, from deciding the size to aligning your letters. A Stitch Fiddle link is provided for the graph of all the characters so you can copy-paste, but using Stitch Fiddle is not required as the graph for each letter is also in the pdf document. A full graph for the “Crochet Plushies” banner is also provided with Stitch Fiddle link.

This pattern could help you make a custom banner for your market booth like I did, or a wall-hanging, or a name on a baby blanket, or any project that needs lettering!

You gauge does not matter for this project, as you are creating your banner to a custom size. Make a 4” swatch to calculate the final size of your banner, if desired.

You will need:
- Worsted weight yarn (or yarn of your choice)
- 4.5 mm crochet hook (or coordinating hook size)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle

You will need to know the following stitches/techniques:
- single crochet
- Changing colors (instructions included)
- Double crochet (for optional shell border)
