Bar Chart Temperature Blanket
Bar Chart Design Instructions
Note this pattern used #4-gauge Red Heart, Loops and Threads and Vanna yarn. A “K” hook was used but this pattern can be used in any yarn weight and hook size as well as your preferred stitch. This made the blanket about 10x11, use a smaller hook for a smaller blanket. :) This blanket is done in HDC across.
11 different colors; 10 for lows and highs, 1 for background.
Needle for weaving in ends
2-3 skeins in each color background color will need more skeins
I used 10 colors plus my background color and switched colors when needed. The great thing about this pattern is that you can do anything with it.
If I ran into negative degrees, I just used colors with glitter in them to differentiate between the colors.
Once your degrees have been stitched, change to your background color and crochet until you reach the next and change to your color of choice.
I changed colors every 7 degrees to get more of a color pallet out of the blanket.
Once completed, tie off last stitch and it’s complete or add any kind of boarder you desire. Always feel free to email me with questions on this pattern. I hope you enjoy.
