Korean word “바람(baram)” has two meanings: “wind” and “wish”.
A myriad of beautiful traditional patterns and motifs can still be found everywhere in Korea,
from traditional architecture to daily goods. They have been used not only for decoration, but also for the ways to symbolize nature, philosophy, or wishes.
“Baram” cowl captures the aesthetic of Korean traditional patterns full of wishes for your health and good luck.
Ajamun (亞字紋) comes from the Chinese character (亞), which implies shamantic symbolism.
It also means longevity because it appears in a series.
Wanjamun (卍字紋) is formed with protruding right angles. In virtue of its dynamic and elegant image, it is often used as a decorative pattern for furnitures or architectures, as well as the symbol of Buddist temples.
Yeonhwamun (蓮花紋) is a lotus flower pattern which represents Buddha and reincarnation in Buddhism.
You can create various designs by slightly changing the color combinations or by using styles like adjusting the length to wrap it around twice.
