Korean word “바람(baram)” has two meanings: “wind” and “wish”.

A myriad of beautiful traditional patterns and motifs can still be found everywhere in Korea, from traditional architecture to daily goods. They have been used not only for decoration, but also for the ways to symbolize nature, philosophy, or wishes.
“Baram” shawl captures the aesthetic of Korean traditional patterns full of wishes for your health and good luck.

“BARAM Shawl” is a triangular shaped shawl worked from the bottom up in the round, with increases at the center and the side.
After binding off, the shawl is steeked along the top edge.
It is easy to modify the pattern because all the parts, except for Dangchomun section, are symmetry.
