Barbapapa mittens
This pattern is
available for free.
These mittens consist of two fingerless gloves, with a cap to turn them into mittens. This allows for curious toddlers to have their fingers free for gathering all kinds of treasures, while quickly providing the necessary warmth when those little fingers grow cold.
To make sure these mittens won’t get lost, you can also add a cord.
As a finishing touch, you can also add eyes and a mouth, making them look like the Barbapapa characters from the popular series (which my youngest absolutely loves)
