This knitting pattern is for a Checked Vintage Inspired handbag for dolls such as Barbie.

It requires light fingering weight yarn or sock yarn and a set of US 1 (2.50mm) double pointed needles. For yarn, I used: Knit Picks light fingering weight yarn.

It knits up quickly in “the round” so there’s no swatching, seaming or sewing. Knit it once, if it could be slightly bigger or smaller, knit it a second time using smaller or larger needles.
