This pattern is available for free.

This pattern is for a cotton coat for a Barbie.

The starting chains of the rows don’t count as a stitch.

Follow the rows (at the end of each row you can find the stitch count in brackets).

If you are a beginner, I would recommend to use two stitch markers: one on the first stitch of the row and one on the last stitch of the row.

HOW TO

  • MATERIAL I used:

  • 2mm crochet hook

  • Blue yarn (cotton 8/4 – color n. 96 from Hobbii) – about 22grams

  • Silver yarn (Cocktail deluxe – color 17540 Silver from Hobbii) – about 2 grams

  • n. 2 snap fasteners 6mm

  • stitch markers

  • STITCHES and TERMS Here below the list of the stitches (US terms) we are going to use for this project. Don’t worry, also a beginner can do it, it just asks a little bit of practice on these stitches.

CH = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
DEC (Decrease) = 1 singles crochet over 2 stitches
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
SS = Slip Stitch
st = stitches
BLO = Back Loop Only
On YouTube you can find a lot of videos about how to do decrease.

Shall we start?

Let’s go!!
