I saw a beautiful dress on the cover of a book and I knew I had to crochet it for the Barbies. I had a partial skein of Red Heart Super Saver and I used all of it, so my estimate is 100-200 yards or so. This is worked in three pieces, two for the top that are sewn together, and the skirt is done from the bottom up. The ruffles are created by decreasing with a smaller hook. An added bonus is my Barbie could stand up on her own when wearing this dress!
