This dress is worked in rounds from the top down, using simple crochet sts. (UK terms) I have stated using a 3.25mm hook but if you don’t have one a 3.50 will do. The bodice is tight fitting so if your doll is larger than barbie just add a few dc at the begining and adjust the pattern.

Check your yarn as 4ply can vary a lot and make quite a difference in sizing for such a small garment. I used Patons Soft cotton 4ply.
Crochet thread is too fine for this pattern (you could try using it doubled)

The pattern is a variation of my Barbie sundress and includes the bag from that pattern.
