Construction
Barbra Deserved Better was playfully named after the yarn originally used to knit this pattern. This pullover was knit using Madeline Tosh Sock in the color way “Barbara Deserved Better” using bright pink with playful splashes of color throughout! I loved the yarn so much that I had to create a simple design and play with stitches and numbers to allow the color of this beautiful yarn to really pop, and thus… Barbra was born. This pullover is knit from the top down seamlessly using a combination of slip stitch, directional stitches, and short rows to create its shape and design. If you love working with lightweight (original pattern uses fingering weight) yarn and using stitches in unique ways, then this is the pullover for you. Barbra Deserved Better is the perfect sweater for dress up or dress down occasions.
This pattern has not made it though all the stages of testing.
