The Bard Socks are knit from the cuff down and are constructed with a heel flap and gusset.
There are three cables on the front and a fluffy mohair ruffle underneath the ribbing.

Yarn: fingering weight sock yarn (425m/100g)
(Used for the ones in the example: Terry from Symfonie Yarns in the color mahogany)
Approx. amount: 50-80 g, depending on size and foot length;

for the ruffle: Tynn silk mohair from Sandnes Garn in the color 1015, approx. amount: 5-10 g (alternatively you can use the same yarn for the ruffle as for the socks)

Gauge: 30 sts and 42 rows = 10x10cm /4x4“ in stockinette st

Needles: DPNS or a circular needle in 2.5mm

Sizes (measured at the widest foot circumference):

S: 17,5 cm, stretches to 20,5 cm (8 in) (56 sts)
M: 20 cm, stretches to 23 cm (9 in) (64 sts)
L: 23 cm, stretches to 26 cm (10.2 in) (72 sts)

The length of the foot and leg can be adjusted individually.
