The Barely Buttoned Top is a seamless tank worked from the bottom up flat (back and forth). The back and front are split and worked separately. The straps are worked up in an i-cord and attached using a three needle bind off.

The top has about 1-3 inches (2.5 - 7.5 cm) positive ease built into the sizes. There is a schematic provided so you can adjust the size made based on the positive ease you would like.

Materials: fingering weight yarn, size US 5 – 3.75 mm circular needles, double pointed needles, 3 stitch markers, 7 – 0.5 inch (12.5 mm) buttons, scrap yarn or stitch holder, measuring tape, darning needle

Gauge: 23 stitches and 31 rows per 4x4 inch (or about 10.25 cm) square in stockinette stitch, blocked
