❉ What you get:
Create a whimsical and fantastical pair of Bark Gauntlets for yourself with this highly detailed 24 Page pattern! This pattern includes a mixture of written instructions, charts and photos. This pattern cannot be completed without the use of the charts. Key and instructions for how to read my charts are given.

Your bark gauntlets will comprise of bark pieces with corset-style lacing channels and laces. Instructions are then included for how to make mushrooms, leaves and moss to embellish your gauntlets.

❉ Supplies Needed:
Yarn -
Approx. 150-200g stiff brown aran yarn, depending on size.
10g green aran yarn.
DK Yarn scraps (less than 10g of each colour) in greens and earth tones for embellishments.
The pattern also includes suggestions for yarn to use to imitate moss.

Recommended hooks -
5mm hook is essential for the gauntlets.
4mm and 3mm hooks are advised for embellishments.

Notions - Yarn needle, stitch markers and measuring tape.

❉ Experience Level:
This pattern was written with intermediate crafters in mind. However, I believe that an adventurous beginner who likes a creative challenge would fair reasonably well with it! Please read my FAQ for more information on the experience level required for my patterns.

I do not, however, explain how to work the basic crochet stitches used. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (including increase/decrease, front/back post), how to work with a magic ring and how to read a crochet chart. Instructions for how to read my charts are given.

❉ Sizing:
This pattern comes in three size options (S, M, L) but due to the lace-up nature of them, it can accommodate all sizes. A measuring tape is essential and I recommend trying on your work as you go.

You may absolutely sell anything you personally make from this pattern! This excludes mass production methods. According to creative seller best practices, I ask that you please credit myself, Whymsi Row, as the pattern designer and consider linking to my website on your online item listing(s). Of course I cannot enforce this, but I do the same for my fellow creatives because it is a nice gesture and a sign of respect for one another’s work.
