Bark sweater
Modern crochet sweater that might look complicated, but is really easy to make. Top-down, big hook and no seaming - it is a fast make! There 2 different variations - one with a narrow waistband (grey sweater) and one with a straight edge (white sweater).
The pattern has written instructions, a chart for the yoke for each size and a photo tutorial for FPdc.
I crocheted using 2 different yarns held together - a thin wool and a kid mohair. This gives an airy appearance and a light-weight garment. You can easily use other kinds of yarn of your choice. But choose a thinner yarn than you might expect and feel comfortable with - otherwise it won’t drape and will be bulky.
Yarn: 5 (6) 6 (7) skeins of Semilla fino from BC yarn, color ox101, 240 m/50 g. 5 (5) 6 (6) skeins of Kid mohair from BC yarn, color km34, 225 m/25 g (this is for the grey sweater, the white sweater was made in 2 threads of a thin no-brand yarn).
Note, that the sweater is cropped, if you want to make it longer you will need more yarn.
Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4)
Finished measurements: Sweater circumference at chest: 96 (112) 120 (140) cm
Sleeve circumference: 30 (35) 36 (42) cm
Length: 46 cm. As it is made top-down, you can easily make it longer
Be aware that the pattern has a lot of elasticity.
The pattern is available in english (US terms) and danish
