The Barley Cardigan is a straight body, oversized, drop sleeve cardigan with a v-neck. The fit will be loose and broad in the shoulders with a positive ease of 2”-6”. Designed with three separate square styles that are sewn into the body of the sweater, this gives the Barley Cardigan a fun and unique patchwork look to the finished piece. The sleeves are created separately, making them easily customizable in length, and have the barley-esque stitches just above the cuffs to tie the entire piece together.

This pattern is written out for the pictured configuration of squares, but I have included as extras the neckline instructions for any of the square styles. This allows you to change the configuration if desired but please note that this can change the drape and possibly the sizing of your cardigan.

Pattern is written in US terms and comes with instructions for 4 adult sizes: XS/S, M/L, XL/2X, 3X/4X.
