Barnaby Hullet
Description
The farmers in the surrounding Cumbrian countryside can rest easy when they know that Barnaby Hullet is watching over their barns in the still of night. Silently he glides over the fields, with a lantern lighting his way, and visits each farm in turn to check that no little furry creatures are stealing the stored grain. And if you happen to be out on a starry night you may even catch sight of his white face in the moonlight, or hear his warning screech, as he does his rounds.
‘Owl be watching over you!’
