Amigurumi is the art of Japanese Knitted and Crocheted stuffed small toys. Barnaby Owl one-of-a-kind Owl is as cute as can be! Why not knit him up as an adorable gift! He has beads for eyes, but you can easily make him suitable and lovable for preemies, babies and toddlers if you embroider his eyes instead. Children, teens and adults are also sure to love him! He is sure to make everyone smile. :)
Barnaby knits up quickly making this a really enjoyable project to complete. It will be great for using up odds and ends from your yarn stash! Barnaby is knitted in Brown, Rust and Cream, but you can knit him up in any colours you like.

11cm in height and 11cm in width including the arms.

(A) 1 x 50g/112m balls – King Cole Merino Blend DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 796 Beech.
(B) 1 x 50g/112m balls – King Cole Merino Blend DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 41 Oatmeal.
(C) 1 x 50g/100m balls – King Cole Baby Alpaca DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 501 Fawn.
(D) 1 x 50g/100m balls – King Cole Baby Alpaca DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade SFN 63 Brown.
(E) 1 x 50g/112m balls – King Cole Merino Blend DK. (DK / 8 ply weight). Shade 786 Ginger.
Equipment needed
2.25mm knitting needles.
Round end small tapestry needle.
Hollow fibre filling.
2 x 4mm Black round beads. (If you are knitting this item for a baby you can easily darn the eyes on to the head using Black yarn instead).
Black sewing cotton (to sew on the beads).
Skills needed to complete these items
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Knit in to the Front and the Back of a Stitch, Knit stitches together, Pass stitch over, Slip a stitch.
