by Violet Green
Swirls form around little eyelet stalks, then become larger swirls around larger eyelet stalks, which turn into a furl-free garter stitch chevron-patterned edge.
This triangular shawl is knit from the top down. It can be knit with any weight of yarn, to make any size of shawl. The shawl pictured was knit with one and a half 100g skeins of hand-dyed Double Knitting weight Alpaca, colour Velouria, and a 5mm diameter, 80cm circular needle.
Difficulty rating: Medium.
