Barren Land Sweater
BARREN LAND SWEATER is a circular yoke sweater with a relaxed fit, knitted from the top down in the round. It features a minimalist stranded-colourwork pattern. First the neck is cast on and worked in (half)twisted rib. Then increases are worked following the chart. After the yoke is done and before separating the sleeves, the back of the sweater is shaped with short rows. Then the sleeves and the body are separated and worked in stockinette stitch. The (half)twisted rib on the cuffs and hem are finished with a simple bind-off in pattern. BARREN LAND was inspired by some of the harsh but immensely beautiful Icelandic landscapes with volcanic soil, glaciers and sparse vegetation.
Please choose a size that is 10-25 cm larger than your
