Hi everyone! Barry the Bear is modeled after my youngest daughter’s most favorite stuffed bear in the whole world. I hope he’ll become your favorite too!

I would consider this to be an intermediate pattern. Most of the pieces are worked in continuous rounds and have fairly simple construction. The exception would be his ears, which use blocks of color in the round. Sewing the components together also requires a little bit of patience and an eye for symmetry.

You can use any yarn you prefer. I used Caron Simply Soft and a 4.5 mm hook. Gauge is not applicable. If made with the indicated yarn, bear will sit approximately 10 inches high.
