DEDICATED TO JAMES BARTLEY
inspirer, bandit conspirer, tester

This bandit cowl has much to keep your interest – starting with the really broad and beautiful cable, the travelling cables from the neck to the front. Travelling. Moving. Swirling. Dancing. Be a geek and knit it in the most fantastic nearly luminescent colorway I have ever seen. And you know, orange is fresh. Who can resist the smell of a just peeled orange? Me not.

CONSTRUCTION
Bartley is a bandit cowl – with a lot of great techniques – a beautiful piece for learning and growing as a knitter! You start with knitting flat in a loose seven-rib-cable pattern and join the ends by grafting. Pick up stitches out of one border edge and knit a squishy knit-purl rib in the round. The neck is really interesting. This interestingness travels to the front when you start working in rows and shaping the pointy front. Snuggly!
