Baseball Jacket
This jacket is completely seamless. Body of jacket is worked flat in one piece, bottom up, to armholes. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked top down before making a double cuff.
Shoulder seams are grafted using Kitchener Stitch.
Sizes are included from newborn to 4 years old.
You can use any yarn which you can get gauge with, I used Stylecraft DK, and for the smallest size, made two jackets out of a single ball of each colour.
Colours given were my customer’s choice. I look forward to seeing yours.
I found circular needles worked better than dpn’s, certainly its easier to work the double cuff using circs.
YOU WILL NEED a 2nd 3.25mm circ or could use straights, initially you make 1 rib section, then a 2nd one before working both together.
