This scarf starts and ends with a triangle built on increases and decreases. Throughout the scarf, increasing and decreasing by one stitch in alternate rows will create a diagonal strips effect. Whether or not your team has a good season, you can wear this art piece with pride for those chilly early season games! Here, I knit the NY Mets 2022 season in Pumpkin, Royal Blue, and Black – it turned out to be over 26 feet long!

Amount of yarn varies depending on the way the season progresses. I would recommend purchasing at least two skeins of each color, where each skein is 198g / 7oz, 333m / 364yd. I ended up needing a little over two skeins of the Royal Blue and Pumpkin, and 1.5 of the black.

Gauge does not matter at all! Feel free to flair up the scarf with pins or buttons to document the games you’ve attended, historical moments, or career milestones!
