“Basia” is a simple beanie style hat with allover texture and a big pompom.

Materials
* Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% Merino) 100g/ 210 yards (192 meters); 1 (2, 2) skein/s or approx. 200 (220, 250) yards [183 (201, 229) meters] of aran weight yarn that knits up to gauge.
The sample is knit with Velvet Grapes (204).

• US 4 [3.5 mm] & 6 [4 mm] 16” (40cm) circular needles or DPNs
• One stitch marker
• Pompom maker (optional)
• Tapestry needle

small (medium, large)
To fit head circumference: 19 (22, 24)“ [48 (56, 61) cm]. Approx. hat length: 8.5 (9, 9)” [21.25 (22.5, 25.5) cm].

Gauge
18 stitches and 26 rounds per 4” [10 cm] in stockinette stitch with larger needles after blocking
