This is a simple little pouch with (optional) neckband. It’s great for holding charms, precious stones, headphones, cash, or any little treasures you want to remember to keep with you. I recommend a softer material for the neck band (cotton, alpaca, bamboo, silk blends or a very fine merino), as some acrylics and wool will be rather itchy and unpleasant.

Gauge is really not important for this pattern, but expect 12 stitches to be about 3 inches wide. The construction is top-down. I used US size 4 (3.5mm) needles and worsted weight yarn.
