This is a really easy pattern that I made in one sitting making a present for a friend.

You may want to use a stiffer yarn if you want a really rigid basket. The one I’ve used and recommended isn’t completely rigid.

I used about one and a half skeins of the Hayfield super chunky, but I’m quite a tight crocheter.

Where I say front loop in both patterns, it’s supposed to be back loop!!
