BASIC BEANIE - is a unisex, classic 2 x 2 ribbed hat that looks awesome on both genders alike. The decreases at the top of the hat make a lovely design. It is knit seamless from the bottom up, all in one piece construction. There are two sizes available in the pattern; Baby & Adult. It fits like a glove but has enough stretch to keeps its shape and feel comfortable on. Knit the hat to just cover your ears or extend the length for a folded brim for a different look, extra thickness and warmth. Very quick and easy to knit. Great stash buster as it only uses 30 grams (70 yds) of yarn for the baby size (without folded brim) and 61 grams (144 yds) of yarn for the adult size (with folded brim), see photos. Modify for the perfect fit and style. Great for gift giving as well. Very addictive and meditative. A snap on faux fur pom pom can be added for two different looks. Also, a leather label can be attached for a personal touch.
