I have written this pattern in standard US terms and the pattern includes photos to help you along the way.

Required supplies:
Any yarn
0.5mm hook bigger than yarn recommends
5mm Elastic (optional)
Thread (to sew elastic together)
Measuring tape
Needle
Scissors

Stitches used:
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
HDC2TOG – half double crochet 2 sts together
HDC chainless foundation stitch

This pattern is not specifically sized, instead instructions are provided so that the shorts can be made to suit you.
