Basic black vest in a classic shape with pockets. Buttonhole instructions are given for men’s and women’s versions. Vest is worked in one piece to underarm; then fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders. Front and neckbands are worked in one piece in stockinette stitch with a facing. Armhole bands are worked circularly in stockinette stitch with a facing.
Measurements:
- Size A: 40” / 102 cm chest; 24.5” / 62 cm length
- Size B: 44” / 112 cm chest; 25.5” / 65 cm length
- Size C: 48” / 122 cm chest; 26.5” / 67 cm length
Yarn: 2 skeins WoolPak 8 ply (100% wool; 510 yd / 466 m = 9 oz / 250 g).
Needles:
- US 5 / 3.75 mm, 24” / 60 cm circular needles
- US 3 / 3.25 mm, 16” / 40 cm circular needles
Notions:
- Five 1/2” / 12 mm buttons
- Two safety pins
