Even though this pattern is familiar to some with its double knit construction, it will surprise you with it’s fluidity as you are able to create a custom bow-tie without a seam in the middle! That’s right, this tie is knit one direction and then the directions are reverse engineered so you can just keep going!

This pattern is created with double knit stitch, so you are working both sides at the same time.
Keep in mind-

• It will appear wider on the needle and then shrink down after a few inches are knit.
• The stitch pattern should be k, slst, repeat, except for in the first row of adding or subtracting a stitch.

Besides yarn you will also need-

1. Yarn Needle
2. Stitch Marker with lobster claw or progress keeper.
