Make the perfect hat for a warm, sunny day! You can make a frilly, wavy, or flat brimmed hat. Feel free to experiment with colors, and adding appliqués, patches, or embroidery (please tag me on IG @punk.crochetier so I can see your lovely creations!)

The pattern can be used to make 17” to 24.5” circumference hats, and has been thoroughly tested by many lovely folks. It is suitable for beginners, and is written in US crochet terms.

You’ll need:

• a yarn/tapestry needle
• worsted weight yarn (i recommend using cotton yarn; up to 150-180 yards of the main color depending on brim type)
• crochet hook: 6.00mm (if you crochet tightly), 5.5 mm, or 5.00 (if you crochet loosely)
