Background: I was determined to find a way to make a tabletop Christmas tree. I looked up patterns in books and downloaded patterns online and some were great and I ended up with some cute ones but nothing that worked quite right for me.

Then I started just going off script and experimenting a bit with shapes like cones and how to determine what the right increase is to get the right angle.
I think this one works and there are a lot of options so think of this as a basic design and put your own spin on it.
