A beginner friendly sweater vest knitting pattern offered in sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) XXXL.

MATERIALS
- NEEDLES: Size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles with 16” cord
Size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles with 24-36” cord (optional)
- YARN: 400 (450) 450 (450) 500 (500) 550 grams 100% Merino Wool (150 grams = 90 yards / 82 meters)
All samples shown in images (size S + M) were knit in gauge using 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rasta
- OTHER: A darning needle and a measuring tape will complete your materials :-)

GAUGE
8 stitches / 9 rows = 4 in (10 cm) stockinette on size
US 17 (12 mm) with Malabrigo Rasta

SIZE GUIDE
The finished products knit in correct gauge measure:
Chest: 35 (37) 39 (41) 43 (47) 51 inches
Length: 16.5 (17) 17.5 (18) 18 (19) 19.5 inches

CONSTRUCTION
We will create the vest in two separate panels (front and back) that we will sew together at the tops of shoulders and sides. From here, neck and shoulder ribbing will be picked up and added.
