This is a pattern for a basic crochet hat in any size: from newborn to XL adult.

This pattern works well on it’s own, especially with a beautiful yarn that you want to show off. I also use this pattern as the base for other hats, like my strawberry hat and blue bird hat.

Materials needed: worsted weight yarn (#4) and a 5.5 mm crochet hook. I used Caron Simply Soft for all of these hats.
