Basic Crocheted Potholder
This pattern is
available for free.
9” x 8” double layered potholder takes about 2 ounces of cotton and another 2/3 of an ounce for the edging. You can also work just a single crochet (SC) edging through both layers with 2 SC in the corners.
I have also worked less rows and a shorter starting chain for a smaller potholder.
I used recycled plastic rings for the hanging loop. You can use a milk jug ring for a larger loop or a smaller juice ring depending the the size of loop you would like.
