This is a basic dog bed that will produce an oval dog bed with a stuffed bolster surround. Gauge isn’t important as long as it is a thick knit (otherwise the stuffing will pop through the stitches). I used two strands of all my yarn and knit it on U.S. 10.5 - if you use a thicker yarn (like Lion Brand’s Thick-n-Quick) one stand would do (or you could go down a size in needles). This pattern is perfect to use up what you have on hand - random single skeins in your pile!!
