Anni and Olivia are neighbours and real BFF – best friends forever. They live on the outskirts of Hamburg, go to the same class and want nothing more than a dog. Or a pony! Oh yes, a pony would be soooo cool! They could ride to school with it and feed it the yucky potato soup from school canteen …

PLEASE NOTE
• The doll is knitted in the round, not flat!

The pattern is written for knitters with a bit of experience. Nevertheless, if you are a beginner who wants to learn more, the doll might be perfect to add to your skills. The pattern is written out round by round and includes a lot of pictures where necessary. Additionally, you will find a useful appendix with all used knitting techiques that go beyond the very basic skills.

You can use any yarn you like (e.g. sock yarn). Depending on the yarn weight, the dolls will be taller or shorter. With the mentioned gauge they have a height of approx. 40 cm. Knit as tight as possible, so the stuffing will not show.

Good to know: Anni and Olivia are knitted according to the same instructions and with the same yarn. However, Olivia is actually a little bigger - I knitted her a few months later and obviously a little looser, which affected the size.

Grundanleitung für eine knuddelweiche Puppe von ca. 40 cm Höhe zum Selberstricken – ohne Kleidung!

Anni und Olivia sind Nachbarinnen und allerbeste Freundinnen. Sie wohnen am Stadtrand von Hamburg, besuchen dieselbe Klasse und wünschen sich nichts sehnlicher als einen Hund. Oder ein Pony! Das wäre so cool! Sie könnten auf ihm zur Schule reiten und mit dem nicht so leckeren Möhrcheneintopf aus der Kantine füttern …

Die Anleitung ist für Stricker:innen mit etwas Erfahrung gedacht, aber auch abenteuerlustige Strickanfänger:innen werden dank der detaillierten Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung mit zusätzlichem Technik-Anhang und vielen Bildern viel Freude beim Stricken haben.

Je nach Wollstärke werden die Puppen größer oder kleiner. Mit der genannten Maschenprobe haben sie eine Höhe von ca. 40 cm. Stricken Sie möglichst fest, damit die Füllwatte nicht durchscheint.

Übrigens: Anni und Olivia sind nach derselben Anleitung und mit demselben Garn gestrickt. Tatsächlich ist Olivia aber ein wenig größer – ich habe sie einige Monate später und offenbar etwas lockerer gestrickt, was sich auf die Größe ausgewirkt hat.
