THE BASIC DOODLE REVERSIBLE COWL This pattern is worked in the round as a tube, from the bottom up. Beginning with a provisional cast on and a purl edge, the exterior colorwork is worked, then a purled transition row, after which the interior colorwork is worked. The final cowl is folded in on itself and grafted together, creating a reversible, double-thick cowl.

This is a Doodle Series Pattern, which means it includes micro charts intended to be used as mix-and-match colorwork motifs throughout the project. This “basic doodle” uses simple, everyday motifs that can go with anything for the perfect cowl! Or you can substitute ANY other Doodle charts!

The Basic Doodle includes 26 charts.
