Basic Duo Shorts
These shorts are worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, work the waistband, then, shape the back with short rows for a better fit. The main part, legs and and drawstring for the waistband are worked next.
The pattern for the Basic duo t-shirt, which is shown in the photo, is not included and can be purchased separately.
The embroidery in the shorts is only an example. It is not part of the pattern.
When choosing a size, refer to the waist circumference.
The measurements for sizes 3-6, 9-12, 12-18 months and 1.5-2 years include the diaper.

Recommended yarn: Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, Rowan Panama, Lana Gatto Merinocot, Rico Fashion Cottony, Drops Baby Merino, Drops Safran, Infinity Baby Merino.
Needles: 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6) circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm (16 in) – 60 cm (24 in), depending on the size; 3.5 mm (US4) and 4 mm (US6) double pointed needles for the legs (if not using the Magic Loop method).
Notions: 2 - 2,5 mm (US0 - 1,5) circular needles with a cable length of 40 cm (16 in) for the waistband, 3.5 mm crochet hook, safety pin, stitch markers, about 50 cm (20 in) of waste yarn in a contrasting color.
Before starting, be sure to make and wash the sample. Adjust the size of the needles if it’s needed to achieve the correct gauge.
Gauge of the stockinette stitch after washing and blocking 23 sts × 32 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 in × 4 in) on 4 mm (US6) needles.
