Basic Flower
One of the first things I learned to crochet was these cute basic flowers. I don’t remember where I found the flower crochet pattern but it was a random Youtube back in 2008-2010. I tried looking for it but couldn’t find the video so it must have been taken down. That’s when I thought, maybe I can recreate it from memory and share it with my blog readers! This is the perfect crochet pattern for a beginner or newbie because it only uses the magic circle technique, slip stitch, and double crochet stitch. Don’t worry about the type of hook or yarn because you can use whatever size and the flower will still come out the same. I actually used two different hook sizes for some of the flowers. You can use these flowers for whatever you want, as a gift, for another project, or put them in a jar like I did! haha
If you crochet this project, you can post it on Ravelry or tag me @mooeyscrochet so that I can see your creation. If you want to learn how to crochet, watch my crochet how-to video here. If you would like to support me for making this crochet pattern available for free, you can buy me a Ko-fi.
