Pattern Description from Knitting for Peace: “These mittens are knit firmly to make them warm and hard-wearing.”
Finished Measurements: To fit Child Small (Child Medium, Child Large, Adult Medium, Adult Large) 5.5 (6, 7, 8, 9)“ / 14 (15.25, 17.8, 20.3, 22.8)cm circumference.
Yarn: Approximately 75 (100, 125, 150, 175) yards worsted-weight yarn. Samples in book shown in Reynolds Lite Lopi (100% wool) and Mission Falls 1824 Wool (100% superwash merino).
Needles: One set double-pointed needles (dpn) size US 7 (4.5 mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, stitch markers, stitch holder or waste yarn.
