Winter is not my favorite season of the year, but at least I get to wear some cute hats… and this basic newsboy design is one of my favorites. It’s simple, with a touch of charm and it can be made for girls and guys. Change things up with some colorful stripes and it takes on a whole new look. Happy crocheting!

Skill Level: Easy

Sizes: Newborn, 0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months, Toddler, Child, Teen/Small Adult, Medium Adult & Large Adult

Supplies:

• Heavy Worsted weight yarn; I have used Red Heart Super Saver in Dark Sage
• 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain the gauge
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• 3/4” or 1” buttons (2)
