Basic Raglan Pullover
Skill level: Beginner. Raglan Pullover sweater is worked from the top down in a single piece
with raglan sleeves. The entire sweater is knit in the round.
Size: To fit bust size: Small (38”), Medium (40”), Large (42”), XL (44”), XXL (46”).
Sweater shown in photo is medium.
Materials: 3-4 skeins Fingering or Sock-weight weight yarn (approximately 438 yards per 100
gram skein). Yarn used for sweater in photo was: 100% Blue Faced Leicester sock-weight yarn.
Pattern requires approximately 300-400 grams of yarn or approximately 1350-1800 yards
depending on finished size.
Needles: US size 4 circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge). One set of US 4 double
pointed needles.
Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap of yarn), and yarn needle.
Gauge: 25 stitches and 36 rows worked in Stockinette = 4” x 4” square on size US 4 needles.
