The Basic Ribbed Crew Sock is ideal for accomplished sock machine knitters. Our Ribbed Crew makes for a less bulky ankle - perfect for wearing with skinny jeans!

Pattern, designed to be used with your Dean and Bean’s Sock Machine, includes gauge and fit calculator. Top down, you will start with Juana’s selvedge edge cast on followed by a 1x1 rib cuff and a short 3x1 ribbed leg. Heel, foot, and toe techniques are covered in our Simple Sock pattern.

This pattern works with any size cylinder. The most common sizes for socks are 54, 60, 64, and 72 needles. You will need a ribber attachment.

We suggest fingering weight yarn with at least 10% nylon.
