I originally wrote this pattern for my students to learn to knit in the round, rib, and decrease using dpn’s, but later many of us have used it for community service projects focusing on local homeless teens and adults, as well as our soldiers abroad. Hopefully you’ll be inspired to do the same…

This pattern is quite simple and perfect for that single skein of worsted weight in your stash or for partials which can be combined for a fun striped effect!
