The Basic Sock is knit at 6 stitches to the inch. This sample was knit using Wildfoote Luxury Sock Yarn from Brown Sheep Company

Note: If you are knitting with Wildfoote Luxry Sock yarn you will need to hold two strands together at the same time while knitting.
The pair of socks requires 2 skeins of Wildfoote Luxury Yarn, 75% washable wool, 25% nylon, 215 yards per skein

This has been my go-to sock for as long as I can remember. I am already getting Christmas requests, so in the spirit of holiday knitting I worked this pattern up. There are so many variations that you can incorporate from stripes to knitting in lettering that I left the pattern simple so that you can add your own personal touch.
