This is a formula rather than a pattern, really. It allows the knitter to work out how many stitches to cast on based on their own tension, yarn and measurements. The overall design is meant for socks for diabetics specifically, so the fit is snug, and the cuff is very elastic. The instructions can be modified for each person’s own needs.
