The pattern is written in English, and includes sizes for socks from EU shoe size 22 up to 47.

100g (one ball) of regular sock yarn (like the hot socks suggested yarn) will make a pair of mid calf length socks in sizes up to 44.

For bigger sizes you may need a bit more - the Jeans Vintage suggested yarn comes in a 150g ball and this is plenty for the very largest size (47). I have knitted it with size 2.5mm needles (even though recommended on the ball band is 3 - 4mm). The pattern is written with gauge for 2.5mm needles.

Similarly if you want to make longer socks then you may need more yarn.
